It started with a shade that would not be quiet

Norva began on a quiet morning, when the sound of a motorized shade turned out to be impossible to overlook. That morning shaped the belief the whole company is built on: a shade should move smoothly, respond immediately, and then disappear from your attention entirely.

We work directly with manufacturing partners who have spent more than thirty years producing window treatments. That experience is why we can make a product that feels natural in a home rather than mechanical — and why we can sell it without a showroom between us and you.

What we actually do differently

• We send samples before we take money. A screen cannot tell you how a fabric behaves against your wall at four in the afternoon.
• We check your measurements. Every order is reviewed against its product rules before the fabric is cut. If something looks wrong, we email you before production, not after delivery.
• We bench-test every motor. Each motorised unit runs a full travel cycle and is inspected before it is boxed.
• We sell direct. No showroom, no distributor, no markup for a sofa you did not want to sit on.

The quiet part is the hard part

Anyone can make a shade that moves. Making one that moves without drawing attention — smooth start, soft stop, no rattle at the end of travel, no whine at six in the morning — is the part that took the longest to get right, and it is the part our customers mention most.
